The EM_ENTITY_ASSEMBLY category defines a hierarchy-independent list of assemblies relevant to the EM experiment. The recommended convention is that the imaged assembly, defined in the category EM_ASSEMBLY, is listed first. Components, arrays and superstructures of the assembly are also described. The hierarchy independence enables descriptions of symmetry, sample preparation, particle selection, and map masks at multiple levels.
